Cranky, cranky, cranky, cranky, crank

Post by allthegoodnamesweretaken on Tue Sep 01, 2009 12:48 pm

That's me. I don't really know why.

The office is either feast or famine, it seems, but that is normal. My wife is good at managing the finances, and these times of famine give me time to organize and get other things done that I wouldn't normally. The really crazy part is that I saw more people yesterday than I did for a whole week when I first opened, and here I am complaining about it. I guess that just goes to show how our perceptions change.

It seems that I'm a bit more on edge the last few weeks or so than what is normal for me. I wonder if this is due to some happening in my life, or if it is part of a biological drive to get things done before winter. I think it's a bit early for that, but then again, it is cooling off already.

That is probably a big part of this. I want to go hunting, I want to get out and wander. I want to be under the sky, in the field.

Not if you don't put it on the charger for the rest of the week and surf the web -- a lot-- on it. Twisted Evil

My phone is not that high tech. Ya know I can't even get text messages on it? Yeah, I'm a bit of a luddite. My "new" computer is at least 5 years old, but I got a great deal on it.

So far I am feeling better today. I don't know what was going on yesterday.

I'm thinking that it is part of getting ready for winter. I usually do this occasionally, especially if I feel that I am not doing something that I need to.

Thanks though (((((((Cap)))))))

bounce Ending of August beginning of September...aw relaxing summer days are over with! Time to get the harvest in, can, freeze, smoke, stock up, shake out sweaters, mend clothing, fluff quilts, open windows freshen up the home, tend to the yard, chop winter wood, oil, put away the garden tools, rake up leaves, or pick up kindling, dry/ rearrange herbs/flowers, bed down the livestock, take the herd to market, bale hay!
Is that too much for ya darlin? Maybe its just Natural/ Biological ALL? What are you forgettting to do? Hysterical Very Happy

I've been busily moving my potted plants from the terrace where they get adequate light only from mid-April to late August. Gotta put them out by the front door to get enough sun until frost, the sun's position having shifted that much already.

Did ya know that it's better to do a thorough housecleaning in the fall rather than spring? People and pets track in more dust and dirt over the summer than after the leaves have fallen, so your house will stay cleaner longer if it's cleaned in late fall instead of in spring.

Cool, I'm ahead of the curve. I always do my deep cleaning of the office in the fall.

I think the custom of spring cleaning likely originated in the days of windows being shuttered and heavily curtained in cold weather. Thus, taking down heavy drapes, opening up shuttered windows to let in light and being able to SEE what you were doing motivated women to get things cleaned up.

Dunno, but that makes sense to me.

I'm a pisces.... I am gonna do my big cleaning this weekend. I'm off Sun and Mon, so is the family.. THEY all plan to be out of the house... anywhere but here...LOL

I clean it all getting ready to shut the house down. Then in the spring, around my b'day actually, I'll clean big again... It's not as much work because the house has been closed and we don't have the dust and crud that comes in in the summer.

Nope, I'm an Aquarius. I don't really know what that means other than I am stubborn and pig headed.

Well, since you all seem to enjoy cleaning so much, you are more than welcome to take a crack at my house! Smile Never mind the cats, especially the one who sounds like he's saying 'hello'.

It's getting cooler here. How fun, fall and winter are coming. I hate cold weather.
