I welcomed the Summer Solstice with a nice slight sunburn. Had a good time though (water park).

I will, SG!! One of them was serenading me tonight with his new guitar. He was playing the scales again and again and again and again........I think if I hear them one more time, I'm gonna scream!!! LOL Had a party for them yesterday, and agreed to let their friends come over with their guitars and amps to play in my backyard, under a canopy.....in the rain. I really don't know what I was thinking....to say it was torture is an understatement!!! Laughing

Hey everyone! we've had some serious flashflood warnings here in Idaho. My boyfriend's parents house got completely flooded; we're still bailing out the 7 foot cellar and scooping mud off everything. Please keep them in your thoughts; they've been having arough time lately. (His dad just got diagnosed with parkinsons, to top everything off..)
Other than that hope everything is well for all of you!!!

Second major will be english/mythology. I'll probably end up being a teacher, which is ok. Razz As far as the cyst news goes: I have one cyst, but it's small and should not be hard to remove. I'll find out on Monday how they'll get rid of it. But thank goodness it wasn't more serious!!!

Happy fourth to all my American friends out there!!!

Luv,
TH

Yay! A major in English/Mythology! My major was in Literature. Teaching can be wonderful, especially when you get to teach mythology (which one does get to teach out here in South Dakota to freshmen and sophomores: yep, it's right in the content standards -- Greek, Roman, Norse, and Native American mythologies!). I particularly enjoyed teaching Norse mythology.

I hope the removal of the cyst is quick and relatively painless (or even better yet, completely painless).

Well I've been gone a bit and thought I"d update: I had to go under the knife on tuesday to drain the cyst. It turns out the cyst was about the size of a tennis ball. I've been laid up and in recovery for awhile (I react wierd to anesthesia), had an allergic reaction to the codine they gave me, and now I have vernal conjunctivitis in one eye. *sigh* BUt I'm alive and feelin pretty darn good!

Random thought for the day: Does anyone ever hop back over to b-net? I visited a few weeks ago and boy has it gone downhill. Only Creaky seems to be holding the fort...
