We are a fairly "boring" forum as far as fights and drama goes. Sorry to disappoint...

I have been asked to provide directions for using the ignore feature and I'm responding here in case others would like that information as well.

Go to your profile. One of the tabs at the top is labeled "friends and foes." Click on it and you should be able to see how to add people to either list. If you need more help just ask.

I am going to take a big step here.... If ANYONE brings parents or children into the conversation, in an insulting manner, I will delete the post.
NO ONE talks about my mother and I will MOST ASSUREDLY delete an further comment. Internet Mystery, you are hereby warned. NO ONE brings someone else's parents into any discussion.

You can bring yours into it...If you know who she is...If she's smart she has cut and run and has no contact with you... but you will NOT bring anyone else's in.

Well, in all fairness, no one can predict the becoming nature of a forum, right? But don't sell this forum short on "fights and drama" because IMO I've noticed many instances of dramatic fighting rhetoric. For example, one of your moderators - John T Mainer - made the comment, quote: "To access them, you must both read and comprehend. I understand if such skills are as beyond you as courtesy, respect, and self discipline. Sadly angry little boys are way too common on the internet for anyone to be surprised, impressed, or moved by your tantrums. I am sorry your parents didn't spank you enough, but nobody here can be bothered either."
Clearly, IMO and to most perhaps, those are accusational dramatic fighting words, don't you think? Here's a couple more examples of "fights and drama":
1. allthegoodnamesweretaken said; quote:
" Only a moron would mistake this for a "Christian forum" "

Now in that example (which is also a false assumption because I never assumed this was a Christian forum), IMO and to most perhaps, those too are dramatic fighting words since the person is antagonistically calling me a "moron" looking to provoke a fight, wouldn't you agree?

2. tmarie64 said; quote:
"Why is YOUR stupid ass here?"
Now in that example, IMO and I'm certain almost everyone would agree, those are without doubt not only "dramatic fighting" words but also symptomatic of someone with rage/hate issues wouldn't you agree?

Anyway I could quote many more examples but suffice to say IMO, your forum has no shortage of "fights and drama" for those who might be interested in that sort of thing and therefore you needn't apologize nor feel disappointed as far as I'm concerned? Smile Not to mention, this forum is entertaining in some aspects along with people just saying/being themselves and having fun like I am while also laughing at myself in participation. BTW, do You know what the word: "assume" means?

Curious how you seem to gloss over the fact that every single person you quoted above was responding to/defending hirself against antagonism initiated by YOU.

Odd, that little omission of attribution.

Let's not forget the mystery man starting a thread that calls this forum boring, and accusing us of having sob stories that we desperately want attention for.

Which is probably because he/she/it still feels butthurt.

Mystery- That's two points. One more and you're gone. I am not in the mood. The other admins around here might have more patience, but what can I say, I'm the forum bitch.

So mind your p's and q's if you want to stay. And if you don't, then get gone already.

Like I said, I don't know how they do it in Halifax, but here in the south, you don't go into any place acting as you have, and then expecting a warm welcome. There's no assumptions there, you're being judged by your behavior you've presented and reaping what you've sown. Had you come in wanting friendships, niceities, and pleasant conversation and acted accordingly, you would have gotten a warm reception and just what you were looking for. You came in looking to fight with people, in a juvenile, silly manner, and you've gotten what you've asked for.

The one thing Jesus and Christianity, Buddha and Buddhism, all forms of paganism, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, New Age and every other faith I can think of has in common is that they all teach, you reap what you sow. And they're all right...it's true.

When I was a kid, there was a big to-do in the news about these young kids who decided to lay in the road, and get run over by a car, to see if it was fun to get run over by a car.

Heehee.... Maybe "mystery" is one of those. LOL Ya gotta admit, the original members here, when riled up, can make someone feel like they've been hit by a truck.

Frankly, SG is about to be the "car" in this scenario, and I'm glad it's not ME lying in the road!

No. I only play dress up when the army is footing the bill. As long as they are paying for my services, then Cadpat or Dress Greens are the order of the day (winter, Dress Tans for summer). I know, you like to play pretend, but unlike trolls, real men and women are more interested in achieving than whining. Love to chat more, but packing to go on field deployment Thursday.

I realize from your tone and general defensiveness that you have very low self esteem, and thus would be ashamed to post any pictures of yourself, or attach your name to your words (considering the words, its probably best), but although you may not comprehend this, most of us are proud enough of who we are and what we have accomplished that we do not have to lie, mislead, or evade. Perhaps if you finish being angry and defensive, you might sit down and think about who you really are, and set about achielving something that is worthy of sharing with the rest of us.

Anger and persecution complexes are great for little emo teenagers, but to cut it as an adult, you really do need to put away your angst, and get down to the hard work of putting your beliefs and ambitions into practice, and standing on your deeds not simply your shouted words. By your deeds you will earn respect, by your shouting all you earn is distain.

If you would like a nice honest fight, Internet Mystery, just bring up gay rights, gun control, Bush, gods or illegal aliens. I'm sure that many people here would oblige. Trading insults over nothing on the other hand, seems sort of a waste of time. Could you bring up a real issue to fight over, please?
