So this is you, but you're not really you?

I resemble that.

I'm different here than I am IRL too.

Well, well...look who wandered in.

Don't be fooled by that guy behind the curtain, everyone. I met this character over on B-net not long ago. He's not nearly so befuddled and certainly not as much given to brevity as this intro suggests.

Hiya, RevJ. Glad you found your way here. Welcome to our merry band of misfits.

Eh, not to worry. If there's one thing people around here appreciate, it's a good, honest fool. Probably more in the tarot sense which is one reason I like this place and these here folks, but we do a fair amount of just plain garden variety foolishness, too.

Thanks. I'm really not either as mysterious or as flippant as I probably appear at the moment. In fact, I rather pride myself on my transparency, since it is a quality it took me years of hard work to develop. I just happen to be at a bit of a stressed out, strained, and conflicted place. I know really well where I've been, and have a fairly good idea where I am, but I'm less sure about where I'm headed than at any time in the past 20 years or so. Paradoxically, I have more tasks immediately at hand that need to have been done yesterday than I have had in about the same length of time. So I don't know where I'm going, but I'm laboring frantically to get there! So bear with me if I don't make a lot of sense at the moment. confused

Madness isn't always howling. Sometimes it is the quiet voice in your head asking if there is room for one more.

Sanity is over rated.

Hmm. I think I know you, RevJ. But honestly, I can't put a face to the post.

Confused now.

I put my face to the post, and held it there for quite a while. Afterwards, I still didn't know you.

Guess I should have warned y'all, I do have a tendency to be overly literal at times, and I have an 11-year-old daughter who has been giving me lots of smart@ss lessons... Rolling Eyes

Oh, and Shauna, your face is definitely not scary, at least in the sense of being frightful. But although my ex was certainly not named Shauna, I have attained the realization that a pretty girl can be dangerous to my mental health!
