Introduction

Post by Moa on Sun Apr 04, 2010 3:41 am

Hi,
I've come here to look for something new, something I don't know about. I don't particularly follow any religion, but I am in search of the after life... where do we go from here after this life time. I suppose it's a subject that sticks with us at some point in time...

Welcome!

Welcome, if one new member can welcome another.

About what is after:

Time is only an attribute of this phyisical universe and this life. It's said that you're already in Eternity, and that, in fact, as what most fundamentally is, you _are_ Eternity.

I know that this introductions forum isn't for debate or proselytizing, but I just wanted to give my suggested answer to your question.

If anyone wants to debate it, I suppose we should then take it to one of the debate forums.

So, what do we experience after life? I don't know if anyone knows. I would expect that, from that perspective, this life, the one just ended, won't seem as real as it does now, though of course it's still important and real in its own context, and we'd like to know that we've tried to conduct ourselves as well as possible.

Welcome, Moa!

You may find some interesting threads way down at the bottom of the categories list in the "Woo-Woo" section, otherwise known as "Esoteric Practices."

We haven't gotten too much into discussion of the possibility of an afterlife lately.

Go ahead and heat up what's left of the summer by starting a thread to discuss some aspect of that. Could be interesting.
